    At the center of this collaborative ecosystem is the NSF-funded Textile Innovation Engine, serving as the key connector uniting NC State University, Material Return, Manufacturing Solutions Center (MSC), the Gaston Fiber Innovation Center, and Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina. By bringing these partners together, the Engine catalyzes shared strategies, aligns innovation efforts, and accelerates the development of scalable textile circularity solutions rooted in North Carolina.

    As a hub for regional innovation with global reach, the Textile Innovation Engine Showcase demonstrates how coordinated expertise—powered by the Engine—is positioning North Carolina at the forefront of textile transformation and circularity.
